Water Slide Decal Paper for inkjet printer 100 sheets 8.5" X 11"
Sumarry
Have you ever wanted to print a meaningful image onto a mug or dish without having to go into a shop? Well that’s where decal paper comes in. Homecrafts stock water-slide decal paper in Inkjet and Laser depending on what printer you are using. The water-slide papers are great for crafters wanting to create unique decals for models such as trains, boats and cars but work just as well transferring onto wood, glass, plastics, metal and more. When using laser decal paper, make sure you give the design plenty of time to dry! The water-slide decal papers don’t like to go in the dishwasher so if this is a problem for you, you might be better off buying the magic decal paper for ceramic items that can go in the dishwasher. Homecrafts also stock Laser Tattoo Paper, Iron-on Heat Transfer Paper, Inkjet Lazertran sheets, Transcryl Transfer Medium and Transfer Artist Paper.
Application
These are the papers you need if you want to apply your decals to any non-porous surface but don't need to put the finished object in the dishwasher. Our 'water-slide' papers are a 'dream come true' for model-makers: now you can make unique decals for all your trains, boats, planes, die casts, remote control models and the like. They're also perfect for transfers onto wood that has been painted or sealed, glass, plastics and melamine (for decorative plates, for example), soap and metal objects: no need to buy different papers for different surfaces. And if you fancy making the most stunning personalised candles they're ideal for transfers onto wax too: ensure your candle is wide enough in diameter so that the flame will not touch the decal when the candle is burning.
Advantage
Storing The Decal Paper(Imortant)
The proper storage of decal paper is something that is often ignored. Most decal paper (especially the inkjet paper) will react with changes in moisture and temperature. If loose sheets are left out of the open, the top sheet may start curling up and the sheets below will do the same one by one over the course of days or weeks.
We have found that many of the thinner glossy papers seem to be especially prone to curling.Store the media in a dry, cool place as humidity and moisture may damage sheets. The best way to store unused decal paper is in a plastic bag, then turn upside down under a moderate weight such as a thick book. Printed decals should be used within days of printing or stored as described above.
