Sumarry

Water slide decals (or slip decals) are water-mounted decals generally printed face up and rely on the dextrose corn sugar residue from the decal paper to bond the decal transfer to a surface. A water-based adhesive layer can be added to the decal to create a stronger bond or may be placed between layers of lacquer to create a durable decal transfer. The paper also has a layer of glucose film added prior to the dextrose layer which give it the adhesion properties; the dextrose layer gives the decal the ability to slide off the paper and onto the substrate (lubricity).

Application

our premium grade inkjet water slide decal paper is easy to use and can be applied to most surfaces including: Plastics, Glass , Wax (Candles), Wood(art,Furnishings, Crafts), Metal,Cardboard, Tile (for kitchens, bathrooms, etc),Pottery, Ceramics & Enamel and so on.

Storage

For the longest shelf life, ceramic decals / glass decals should be stored at a constant room temperature of approximately 68-74ºF and humidity of about 60-65%.

Storing the ceramic decals / glass decals will not degrade their quality, providing that the above temperature and humidity conditions are maintained. For long-term storage, ceramic decals / glass decals should remain in their original cartons, with the cartons in a vertical position. Only those cartons intended for immediate use should be left lying flat.

Instruction

1. Cut out the graphic you want
2. Immerse the paper in water in about 5 sec,the fixing paper will absorb enough water and can be seperated from the water transfer paper.
3. Hold the paper(two layer together) and transfer it to the surface of your substrate.shift the paper a little bit. use your figer to hold the water transfer paper in position.pull and shift the fixing paper away slowly.shift and fix the water transfer paper onto the position you want.
4. Use the paper towel or a piece of the cloth to squessze the water.avoid excessive pressure that may shift or damage the water transfer paper.
5. When applying to large area,you may use a plastic squeegee to squeeze the air bubble and water away.
6. After approx for about 10mins, the printed graphic will transfer onto the surface of the substrate.use a forceps to peer off the transparen covering paper.
7. When dried,place the subject in the oven and baked.the baking temperatuer and curling time various with different materials.please refer to the following chart for details.
8. Finished.
