Process
1: Start off with 1 sheet of A4 dry rub off decal paper. Each sheet automatically comes with 1 sheet of decal film and one sheet of adhesive film. The decal film has one side shiny, one side matt.
2: Have your picture or design on your PC, ready to print out and load the decal film sheet into your printer so that the print goes onto the matt side.
3: Cut a section out of the adhesive sheet equal to the size of your decal prints. Now take the adhesive sheet and peel off it’s backing and apply the sticky side directly onto your prints and rub together with the rubbing stick provided in your pack.
4: Cut your decals out. Use scissors and a craft knife to cut close to your decals, leaving only the smallest amount of border.
5: Peel away the adhesive sheet and apply your decal, sticky side down, onto the wood.
6: Rub your decal print evenly into the wood for 30 seconds and leave for 3 minutes.
7: Your decal film has a top coat which you now need to separate from the finished print. A craft knife makes this easy.
Finished Your picture is now embedded into the wood. If printing text, remember to print the text in mirror image mode.
